We woke up this morning to a punky baby who had thrown up in her crib last night. She was very lathargic, just like she was when she got sick around Christmas, so Meghan knew something was up. Well what we didn't know was that in a few short minutes we would be swimming in vomit...lucky for us it was only formula!
Meghan and I are taking 1/2 day shifts today with Addison. Right now she is fast asleep in her crib and has not be able to eat anything at all.

Big Week!
This was a big week for Addison. She decided to battle the faucet in the bathroom...and lost! The prize for losing was 2 stitches. We were fine after the first couple of minutes and the entire time we spent in the hospital. Addison entertained all the nurses and was quite pleasant.
However, then they decided to put the stitches in and strap her to a board. This we were not so excited about and the doctor decided to take his grand old time while putting the stitches in...he was looking for everything and taking his time to open it all.
On Saturday we got our stitches out. Dr. Martin said the ER doctor did a really nice job. Addison did awesome and enjoyed having breakfast out on the town with Mom and Dad!

Battling a Cold
This weekend we are battling a cold. Addison has been quite impressive with the bubbles that come out of her nose, but is not a fan of having anyone wipe her nose for her. It's both impressive and gross at the same time.
I went out today and bought some "Homeopathic" medicine for Addison. We shall see how it all works!

Addison's Daycare
Here is a piece the local ABC station did on Addision's daycare and the story behind it. Addison is not in the video, but nonetheless it's pretty cool.

A Big Day!
Today was our 2nd day back after our Christmas Extravaganza! We survived about 24 hours or driving with a dog, a 10 month old, and a ton of presents...I am still not sure how we were able to pack everything. We were able to visit with a ton of family, some we haven't seen in quite some time, and loved every minute of it. Addison decided to throw up more than any person I have every seen in my life. And her parents survived...with MUCH help from Grammy Jean. As you can see from the videos Addison is back to "normal" and just has a slight fever still.
She was so exhausted she decided to sleep until 6:44 this morning...what a great feeling that was!

Master of the Walker!
This morning Addison master the art of walking forward in her walker, thanks Grammy Jean, and was all over the living room. We followed Mom to the door to watch her leave for work and then headed to the dining room. On our way to the dining room we discovered a night light and were very successful at removing the plastic cover. Don't worry we immediately put that into our mouth.
Videos to come later.

Something New
So I think I am going to try something new. At school I am using a site called Vimeo to upload videos my students produce and it is much quicker to upload the vidoes. Hopefully this will keep us more on top of sharing the videos.
